Phase 1 of Hormoz Combined Cycle Power Plant was put into operation in the presence of the First Vic

As reported by Public Relations Department of Ghadir Energy Investment Company (Private Joint Stock): The gas unit of Hormoz Combined Cycle Power Plant was put into operation on Teusday, December 11, 2018, in the presence of Mr. Eshagh Jahangiri, the First Vice President and Mr. Reza Ardakanian, Minister of Energy, in Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone. The installations and different sections of this power plant were also inspected.

 

It should be noted that the gas unit of the said power plant is 160 MW while the total nominal capacity will be raised to 235 MW after commissioning of the steam unit. This power plant has been constructed in line with the objectives of IMIDRO and in order to meet the increasing need to sustainable power for the consumption of industries and development of the necessary infrastructures.
